The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said the online real estate transaction filing service will resume at 1 p.m. on the 30th.
26th, due to a fire at the National Computing and Information Service in Daejeon, the online real estate transaction filing service was suspended, requiring visits to the competent local government to file real estate transaction reports and dwellings lease contract reports.
The ministry, through additional system work, enabled filings via access to the Real Estate Transaction Management System when conducting transactions of buildings such as apartments.
However, when filing only land transaction reports, linkage with the land register information in the Integrated Real Estate Ledger System is not possible, making it necessary to submit filings by visiting the competent local government in person.
The ministry said, "We plan to make every effort to minimize inconvenience in providing public services through the Real Estate Transaction Management System."
The ministry, in consultation with local governments, plans to take measures to prevent any harm such as fines in cases of filing delays caused by this incident. Under the Enforcement Decree of the Real Estate Transaction Reporting Act, when there is a substantial reason for failing to fulfill the reporting obligation due to a natural disaster or a reason equivalent thereto, the period of failure to report is not counted.
