The ministry said, "If a transaction report is required, please visit the responsible local government agency after 9 a.m. on the 29th to proceed with the report."
In addition, under the Enforcement Decree of the Act on Report of Real Estate Transactions, if there is a reason such as a natural disaster or a reason equivalent to it that prevented fulfillment of the reporting obligation, that period is not included in the calculation of any delay in reporting. Reports of real estate sales and dwellings lease contracts must be filed within 30 days from the contract date.
The ministry noted, "In consultation with local governments, we plan to take measures so that fines are not imposed in cases where reporting is delayed due to this incident."
