GS Engineering and Construction said it will open the model home for Cheolsan Station Xi, an apartment complex redeveloping the Gwangmyeong 12R district in Cheolsandong, Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province, on the 19th and begin full-scale sales.
Cheolsan Station Xi will have 19 buildings ranging from seven floors underground to up to 29 floors above ground, totaling 2,045 households. Of these, 650 households with exclusive areas of 39–84 square meters will be offered to the general public. By exclusive area, the supply consists of ▲39㎡ 8 households ▲49㎡ 118 households ▲59㎡ 466 households ▲74㎡ 46 households ▲84㎡ 12 households.
Cheolsan Station Xi's subscription schedule begins with special supply on the 29th of this month, followed by first-priority applications on the 30th and second-priority applications on Oct. 1. Winners will be announced on Oct. 15, and contracts for successful applicants will be conducted for three days from the 27th to the 29th of the same month. Move-in is scheduled for the first half of 2029.
Residents of Gwangmyeong and the Seoul metropolitan area (Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon) who are at least 19 years old, have held a subscription savings account for at least 12 months, and meet the region- and size-specific deposit requirements can apply as first priority regardless of whether they are a head of household or own dwellings.
Cheolsan Station Xi is a station-area apartment within walking distance of Cheolsan Station on Subway Line 7, offering strong access to major business districts including Seoul's Gangnam. Road networks such as Ori-ro, Cheolsan-ro, Anyangcheon-ro, and the Seobu Arterial Road are well developed, making it easy to reach other areas by public transit or car.
The education environment and living infrastructure are also well established. Gwangdeok Elementary School is directly adjacent to the complex, and Gwangmyeong Middle School and Gwangmyeong High School are also within walking distance. The cram school district around Cheolsan Station is easy to use.
Within walking distance are clustered government offices such as Gwangmyeong City Hall, Gwangmyeong Citizens' Hall, Gwangmyeong Tax Office, Gwangmyeong Police Station, and the Suwon District Court. Cheolsan Rodeo Street is also accessible on foot. Sungae Hospital, Gwangmyeong Citizens' Sports Complex, Gwangmyeong Traditional Market, and Save Zone are also nearby.
In front of the complex is Dodeoksan Park, known for the Dodeoksan wildflower garden, a suspension bridge, and an artificial waterfall. Some units will have views. Gwangdeoksan Neighborhood Park, Gwangdeok Children's Park, and the Anyangcheon walking trail are also nearby.
Cheolsan Station Xi will feature not only an exterior design that reflects the surrounding landscape and site characteristics, but also theme gardens and children's playgrounds that blend greenery and rest areas in the ground-level spaces of the apartment complex.
Club Xi-an, the community facility, will include a fitness center, golf practice range, study rooms, shared offices, cultural lecture rooms, guest house, and indoor playground, among various educational, cultural, and sports facilities. A swimming pool with a kids' pool and a temperature-maintenance pool is also planned.
Club Cloud, to be created on the 24th floor of Building 107, will offer relaxation and cultural spaces including a sky lounge, Kyobo Bookstore book curation, a book lounge, and an OCS (Open Coffee Station).
