Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH) said on the 18th that it selected 20 specialized startups in smart construction (AI field) through the "2025 win-win startup and venture support program in the field of artificial intelligence (AI)."
LH has promoted a growth support program since last year to bolster the capabilities of startups and venture companies and to create related jobs.
This year, to support growth in the construction-related AI field, a call for the win-win startup and venture support program in the AI field was held in Jul. A total of 86 corporations applied, posting a competition rate of more than 4 to 1.
Among them, LH selected startups specialized in the construction-related AI field that have innovative ideas and technological prowess. Those selected are ▲ Upsite ▲ Light Vision ▲ City iLab ▲ EnerSign Corporation ▲ Brose ▲ TOCOS ▲ Korea Asset Acquisition, among 20 companies.
For the selected corporations, LH will identify growth needs through customized consulting for each corporation and provide AI service level assessments and quality management consulting through the "AI specialized track." The total support scale is 600 million won. Up to 30 million won will be provided per corporation.
Park Young-nam, head of LH's Smart Housing Technology Office, said, "LH will continue to discover startups and venture companies with AI-based innovative technologies to support growth in Korea's smart city and housing sectors and will expand and implement a variety of support measures."
