The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport said on the 18th that when viewing or issuing a certificate of registered matters (registry copy) through the internet registry office, people can also download the "safe jeonse contract checklist."
The safe jeonse contract checklist lets people review items to prevent fraud during the jeonse contracting process. It includes a QR code that links to key items the public must check at the time of contract and to a comprehensive guide for preventing damage. The ministry last month distributed the checklist to certified real estate agent offices, community centers, and banks nationwide, as well as on online direct-deal platforms such as Zigbang, Dabang, Hanbang, and Naver Real Estate.
To make the safe jeonse contract checklist easier to use, the ministry expanded services so the checklist can be downloaded directly from the internet registry office through collaboration with the Supreme Court's Court Administration Office.

PC users can download the checklist using either method. Mobile users can receive it through the link on the application result page for viewing or issuing the certificate of registered matters.
Lee Seong-su, head of the investigation support team at the ministry, said, "We hope this connected service will bring the safe jeonse contract checklist closer to people looking for jeonse homes and play a key role in reducing jeonse fraud damage."
