Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH) said on the 17th that it opened a "comprehensive housing welfare branch office" in Ulsan to provide integrated housing welfare services.
The "comprehensive housing welfare branch office" serves as a regional housing welfare hub, offering one-stop customized consultations and information on housing, the supply of rental housing, and links to housing support services.
The Ulsan-area comprehensive housing welfare branch office is located at 1327-1, Daldong, Nam-gu, Ulsan, and is a mixed-use residential complex apartment purchased through a new construction purchase agreement project. The first and second floors are used as the comprehensive housing welfare branch office, and the upper-floor apartments (126 households) are supplied as "purchased rental housing" for newlyweds.
This branch houses a "housing welfare branch office," which is in charge of supplying and operating rental housing in the region; a "housing happiness support center (management office)," which performs management and maintenance of purchased rental housing; and a "housing benefits center," which conducts housing surveys to support rent expense for low-income households.
In addition, in cooperation with Ulsan Metropolitan City, a "youth support center" will also be operated to provide local young people with policy information and customized programs across various fields, including jobs, education, welfare, and culture.
Cho Kyung-suk, head of LH's housing welfare division, said, "The comprehensive housing welfare branch office is the closest point of contact in housing welfare, providing the most closely integrated services at people's side," adding, "Starting with Ulsan, we will expand the integrated housing welfare model nationwide to realize customized housing welfare that people can feel."
