The presale price of private apartments in Seoul exceeded 46 million won per 3.3 square meters last month. It neared the previous peak (47.2 million won) for the first time in nine months since Nov. last year.
According to the Korea Housing & Urban Guarantee Corporation (HUG) on the 16th, last month the presale price of private apartments in Seoul was 46.84 million won per 3.3 square meters.
With high-priced complexes such as Jamsil LEEL being supplied, the average presale price is believed to have risen.
Seoul's average presale price recorded 44.09 million won in Dec. last year and has continued to rise, surpassing 46 million won in Jun. this year.
In the provinces, average presale prices are also rising, centered on metropolitan cities. In Busan, the average presale price of private apartments is on an upward trend at 25.13 million won per 3.3 square meters. Daejeon and Sejong also hit record highs last month, recording 19.29 million won and 17.93 million won, respectively.
In contrast, in other provincial areas, due to the impact of unsold inventory buildup, it recorded 14.07 million won per 3.3 square meters, down 1.48 million won from Jul. (15.55 million won).
