Seoul Housing and Urban Improvement Corporation (SH) announced on the 2nd that it has conducted the '2025 ESG Management Evaluation Support Project for Partner Companies'.

SH utilized an improved version of the existing 'Partner Company Self-Diagnosis Checklist' for the evaluation to enhance the ESG management capabilities of its partner companies.

In 2022, SH established the 'Partner Company Code of Conduct', which reflects international standards such as the United Nations Global Compact and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and has supported self-diagnosis for partner companies.

The evaluation systematically checked compliance with the code of conduct in four areas: ▲ Labor ▲ Environment ▲ Health and Safety ▲ Ethics and Human Rights, following the steps of self-assessment → expert evaluation → improvement actions.

SH has been conducting the project since April and selected five aspiring corporations among the first-tier partner companies directly contracted with the corporation for support.

For the selected corporations, it provided human rights risk assessments and customized improvement consulting to help them internalize ESG and human rights management.

It also proposed concrete improvement tasks such as labor environment enhancement, prevention of human rights violations, and establishment of sustainable management systems based on the diagnosis results for each corporation, supporting the development of action plans.

SH plans to expand the scope of its projects in the future to support the enhancement of sustainable management capabilities for more partner companies.

SH President Hwang Sang-ha said, "The corporation will actively strive to strengthen the competitiveness of partner companies and promote mutual growth," and noted, "We will lead the expansion of sustainable partnerships and establish a culture of respect for human rights through the spread of ESG management."
