On the 1st, Daewoo E&C announced that it will introduce a system to support scholarships for the children of employees of partner companies and congratulatory gifts for childbirth to strengthen win-win management with partner companies.
This system aims to contribute to the stability and welfare enhancement of partner company employees, establishing a sustainable win-win cooperation structure.
Daewoo E&C has newly established a scholarship support system targeted primarily at the children of employees of partner companies. This year, it plans to select 50 partner companies with excellent results in field management, quality, and safety evaluations for each of the first and second halves of the year to receive scholarship funding. The beneficiaries will be employees who have worked at a partner company for more than three years and have children attending elementary, middle, or high school, selected through internal recommendations from the partner companies.
A system to support congratulatory gifts for childbirth for employees of partner companies will also be implemented. The beneficiaries are employees of small and medium-sized partner companies that are undergoing contracts as of the application date among regular registrants, and upon childbirth, a congratulatory gift worth 500,000 won will be provided for each newborn. The congratulatory gifts will consist of baby care items such as strollers and hip seats.
This scholarship and childbirth congratulatory gift support system is part of Daewoo E&C's ongoing management policy for co-growth. Daewoo E&C is already operating a co-growth fund amounting to 14 billion won and is providing financial support to partner companies to allow for low-interest loans when needed.
Daewoo E&C is continuously holding 'Excellent Partner Company Co-Growth Conferences' to enhance communication with partner companies. At these conferences, the introduction of systems and policies is conducted. Each year, excellent partner companies are selected by sector, and the best partner company is provided with incentives such as priority in contracts and reductions in contract performance guarantees.
