Dongbu Corporation announced on the 21st that it has won the 'Baegam Logistics Center Construction Project' ordered by OTOKI Logistics Services.
This project involves the construction of a large logistics center, consisting of 1 basement level and 4 above-ground floors, covering a total area of 85,252 square meters in Baegam-myeon, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi Province. The total construction cost is approximately 112 billion won, with a construction period of 26 months.
Dongbu Corporation noted, "The experience in establishing industrial plant facilities and differentiated schedule shortening measures are the basis for the successful bidding."
The newly constructed Baegam Logistics Center is a project that received a grade 1 preliminary certification for 'smart logistics center' from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport last year. It will be established as a logistics hub that incorporates automation equipment and advanced technologies, ensuring efficiency, safety, and environmental sustainability. Dongbu Corporation plans to focus on the core process of flooring ultra-flat construction to minimize automation equipment errors and will introduce advanced refrigeration and freezing systems to maximize logistics efficiency and product freshness.
