The Seoul Housing and Land Corporation (SH) announced on the 18th that it will recruit residents for 293 units of the 48th Long-term Lease Housing starting on the 26th.
The Long-term Lease Housing, referred to as "SHift," is a public rental brand introduced by the Seoul City in 2007. It is characterized by allowing residents to live stably for up to 20 years without conversion to ownership.
This recruitment will offer a total of new resident complexes, including Cheongdam LEEL in Gangnam District, The Sharp Gangdong Central City and e-Pyunhansesang Gangdong Prestigious in Gangdong District, Hills State Jangseungbaegi Station in Dongjak District, and Jamsil Raemian iPark in Songpa District, totaling five complexes across four districts. The exclusive area ranges from 44 to 84㎡, and the jeonse deposit is set at below 80% of the surrounding market price.
Eligibility for residency is limited to rent-free households residing in Seoul as of the date of the announcement, meeting income standards based on exclusive area (105% to 150% of the average monthly income of urban workers) and asset and vehicle ownership criteria. From this recruitment, the income criteria for dual-income households will be newly established (140%·200%), and points for applications have been simplified, easing the application requirements.
Application for the lottery can be made on the SH website, with the first priority from the 26th to 27th, the second priority on the 28th, and the third priority on the 29th. Winners will be announced on February 6th next year, and move-in is possible after March 2026.
