The Seoul Housing and Development Corporation (SH) announced on the 14th that it has signed a business agreement with the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province Economic Promotion Agency (Gangwon Economic Promotion Agency) to introduce a smart housing service called 'Coexistence Market.'
Since 2023, SH has been piloting a 'smart housing service platform' that includes various mobile services such as home-cooked meal delivery, exercise classes, non-face-to-face laundry, and education for digital vulnerable groups, targeted at public housing residents.
The two organizations will jointly operate the 'Coexistence Market' which connects SH's smart housing service platform with the online shopping mall 'Gangwon the Mall' operated by the Gangwon Economic Promotion Agency.
Public housing residents will be able to purchase excellent local specialties from Gangwon at reasonable prices, and local producers and small businesses in Gangwon will secure stable sales channels, developing this into a coexisting model.
SH President Hwang Sang-ha noted, "This agreement is a meaningful attempt to achieve two goals simultaneously: expanding smart housing services and revitalizing the local economy," adding, "We will continue to actively discover various projects aimed at improving the welfare of public housing residents and promoting local coexistence."
