HS HWASUNG announced on the 14th that it has applied lighting design for the first time at the Manchon Park Dream Edium site in collaboration with lighting expert Jo Soo-min, enhancing the value of residential spaces.
This collaboration focused on implementing a light environment and design elements optimized for residential life based on various interpretations and examples of convenience and purpose that residents feel in the space.
Jo Soo-min is the head of the lighting design company 'Root Perception' and an adjunct professor in the Department of Interior Architecture Design at Hanyang University. She is also a lighting designer who has explored the relationship between light and space through her book 'The Faces of Light.' She is gaining attention for her lighting designs that combine functionality and artistry through various projects in residential, commercial, and cultural spaces.
The lighting applied at this Manchon Park Dream Edium site has gone beyond simple 'brightness' and has reflected the living patterns and sensory experiences of residents in detail. It adjusts the color and intensity of light according to the time of day and circumstances, changing the warmth and atmosphere of the space while enhancing visual comfort and psychological stability. This has created a lighting environment where every moment in the home is naturally consolidated.
Park Jin-pil, Head of Team at HS HWASUNG, said, 'This collaboration is a process of completing the quality of residential spaces from the initial design stage, treating lighting not as a simple accessory.' He noted that it aimed to systematically reflect the impact of light on everyday life so that residents could feel deep satisfaction and comfort.
