KCC Glass's interior specialty brand 'Home C' has launched a premium window product 'Home C Window ONE VillaZ' with enhanced insulation performance, it announced on the 12th.
This product features a double insulating glass called 'VillaZ' (VILAZ), specially developed for residential use, combined with the high-insulation structure frame of 'Home C Window ONE' to maximize energy efficiency.
The window sash incorporates double chambers and high-strength bent reinforcements to enhance insulation and wind pressure resistance, while the window frame uses double layers of mohair to increase airtightness. Additionally, a double coating of silver (Ag) has been applied to the VillaZ double insulating glass to achieve superior insulation performance.
VillaZ is a type of glass developed by KCC Glass that improves workability with the latest coating technology, allowing double insulating glass, which was primarily used in high-end commercial buildings, to be applied to residential buildings such as apartments. Compared to ordinary glass or single low-emissivity glass with just one coating, it offers exceptional insulation effects, and the double-glazed windows of Home C Window ONE VillaZ meet the energy consumption efficiency grade 1.
Home C Window ONE VillaZ also enhances privacy and reduces discomfort from light reflection. Due to the double silver coating, the interior is not easily visible from outside, effectively blocking external views, while the low light reflectance rate of about 8% mitigates light pollution affecting nearby buildings.
The slim frame and drainage structure designed for watertightness are also advantages of Home C Window ONE VillaZ. The frame thickness has been reduced, and the glass area has been increased to enhance brightness and spaciousness. The interior of the window frame has been designed with a stepped drainage structure to prevent water ingress during heavy rainstorms in monsoon season.
Home C Window ONE VillaZ is a 'completion window' product for which KCC Glass manages the entire process from processing to assembly, providing the industry's longest quality guarantee of 13 years.
KCC Glass reported that with the expansion of Zero Energy Building (ZEB) certification obligations into the institutional sector in June and the government's strengthened energy-saving policies, the demand for high-insulation windows, which influence the energy efficiency of buildings, is expected to increase. It plans to strengthen its strategy in the remodeling and reconstruction markets with the newly launched Home C Window ONE VillaZ.
