Yongsan District announced on the 11th that it will hold a public notice to collect residents' opinions on the designation of a maintenance district and the establishment of a maintenance plan for the Cheonghwa Apartment residential redevelopment project until September 8.
The maintenance plan for this project, which was selected for the Seoul rapid integrated planning advisory project in October last year, includes plans to establish a complex of multi-family dwellings with a total scale of 679 units, reaching a maximum of 21 stories (below an elevation of 90m) over an area of 48,806㎡.
Completed in 1982, Cheonghwa Apartment is currently a complex of 12 stories and 10 buildings, where 578 units are occupied.
It is located in an important position connecting the Han River waterfront axis and Namsan green axis in terms of location and scenery, and it is expected to develop into a representative scenic specialty complex in the region in conjunction with future projects such as the ▲ Hannam Redevelopment Promotion Project ▲ UN base development project ▲ Yongsan Park development project ▲ Special planning area development for the Ministry of National Defense, Yongsan District reported.
Public consultation materials can be viewed at the district office's dwellings department and the office of the Cheonghwa Apartment residential redevelopment project preparation committee.
Yongsan District will hold a residents' briefing at the Yongsan Youth Center Dream Room Theater on the 27th. After that, it plans to apply for integrated deliberation of the maintenance and landscape plans to the Seoul city council following the opinion collection from the district council.
