KCC Glass announced that it has opened the 8th location of its child education facility improvement project, 'HomeCC Classroom,' at the Changseongsa Community Child Center in the Jangan District of Suwon on the 7th.
'HomeCC Classroom' is one of KCC Glass's representative 'industry-linked' social contribution projects. Based on the expertise of the interior specialty brand 'HomeCC,' it remodels old child education facilities into new spaces.
In particular, it is gaining attention as a sustainable social value creation model by not only improving facilities but also providing various educational opportunities for the children using the facilities.
Since 2022, KCC Glass has been conducting environmental improvement activities for child education facilities in major regions across the country, including Seoul, Gyeonggi Province, Busan, and Incheon.
Recently, it has been strengthening its activities in the Suwon area, focusing on the 'HomeCC Suwon' location. After opening the 6th and 7th locations in Suwon last year, it supported the renovation of the Changseongsa Community Child Center as the 8th HomeCC Classroom this year.
This remodeling utilized various latest materials from KCC Glass HomeCC, focusing on energy efficiency and safety, such as the high-insulation windows 'HomeCC Window ONE' and flame-retardant interior films 'Vicenti Interior Film.' The remodeling emphasized enhancing safety and comfort in areas mostly used by children.
On the 5th, a mentoring education program was held at the HomeCC Suwon location, the largest interior specialty store in the Suwon area, for children using the 8th HomeCC Classroom.
Participating children engaged in a 'glass art mood light making' experience under the guidance of professional instructors alongside KCC Glass employees, fostering their creativity. They also had time to increase their understanding of interior design by touring the HomeCC Suwon store.
