On the 4th, Daewoo E&C signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the golf putting simulator company ''Brotin'' and announced on the 5th that it will introduce a premium golf practice range that includes ''TourPutt'' at major complexes, making it the first in the industry.
TourPutt is a putting training simulator developed by Brotin that utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) technology.
Daewoo E&C plans to establish a premium golf practice range featuring a putting green equipped with the latest technology of TourPutt as well as an indoor total golf training zone capable of approach shots and bunker shots. The facilities will be adapted to the characteristics of each complex and may vary.
Residents can train on a custom putting green that is designed to mimic an actual course, following the putting lines precisely simulated by ''TourPutt Ground''. Daewoo E&C explains that users can experience various slopes and lines repeatedly to develop a real putting feel.
In addition, a high-precision sensor-based putting simulator ''TourPutt Circle'' will also be introduced. This system collects and analyzes users' putting data, quantifying tendencies such as distance, direction, and breaking lines, while providing quantitative feedback.
Furthermore, training content and pattern testing programs created by Choi Jong-hwan, a specialized coach who has coached world-class players like Kim A-rim, Lee Jung-eun, and Yoon In-na, are incorporated, allowing for tailored training suitable for everyone from amateurs to advanced players.
