HDC Hyundai Development Company announced on the 30th that the Seodaemun Central I-Park in Seodaemun District, Seoul, has obtained the AAA certification for its home network building.
This certification is the highest grade awarded through a comprehensive evaluation of various factors such as smart home technology capability, information security system, and device compatibility, operated jointly by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Information & Communication Association (KAIT).
The I-Park Home app applied at Seodaemun Central I-Park has obtained information security certification, and the monthly pads used by residents have passed the Internet of Things (IoT) security certification. These monthly pads safely manage certification information and have removed vulnerable aspects to hacking, as well as preventing external intrusions and automatically terminating access after a certain period, receiving a suitable judgment in all security-related items.
An official from the electrical team of HDC Hyundai Development Company said, 'This AAA grade certification is a result of officially recognizing that the technology and security systems of I-Park are all at the highest level,' adding, 'We will continue to enhance the residential value in terms of technology, security, and community services so that I-Park customers can live with greater peace of mind.'
Seodaemun Central I-Park is designed so that various functions such as lighting, heating, gas, door access, and elevator call can be easily operated with just a smartphone through the smart home platform I-Park Home app developed by HDC Hyundai Development Company in collaboration with HDC LABS.
Additionally, it is linked to major home appliances such as Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics, enhancing convenience in daily life, and supporting cultural and leisure activities through the residents-only e-book subscription service 'IPARK BOOKS.'
HDC Hyundai Development Company stated that it plans to actively expand the verified smart home technology and security systems from Seodaemun Central I-Park to other I-Park complexes, ensuring that many I-Park residents can enjoy a safe and convenient living environment.
