DL E&C announced on the 25th that it has been selected as the preferred bidder for the "Gwangmyeong-Siheung private participation public housing construction project," valued at 812 billion won. The orderer is the Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH).
DL E&C formed a consortium with KyeRyong Construction Industrial and participated in the project. DL E&C, as the lead firm, holds 55% (446.6 billion won) equity.
The project involves the development of 2 underground floors and 29 above-ground floors, consisting of 19 buildings and a total of 2,716 housing units, as well as ancillary facilities in the Gwangmyeong-Siheung S1-10 and B1-3 blocks. The S1-10 block will develop 1,568 units (with a net area of 59-84 square meters) as "New: Home General Type." The B1-3 block will supply 1,148 units (with a net area of 84 square meters) as "New: Home Sharing Type." The construction period is 36 months from the start date.
