Yongsan District in Seoul announced on the 25th that it has published the 'Han-nam District 2 housing redevelopment management plan approval'. This approval comes 3 years and 8 months after the project implementation plan approval in 2021.
The Han-nam District 2 area is located around 272-3 Bogwang-dong, covering an area of 114,580.6 square meters. It was designated as a redevelopment area following Seoul's revitalization promotion plan in October 2009, and the association was established in 2012, receiving project implementation plan approval in 2021.
According to this management plan approval, 31 buildings of dwellings will be constructed in this area, with a total of 1,537 units, ranging from 6 underground floors to 14 above-ground floors. The units planned include 986 for association members, 292 for general sale, 21 for retained land, and 238 for rental dwellings.
Public facilities such as roads, parks, public offices, social welfare facilities, and parking lots are also planned to be developed. Resident relocation will begin in October. After the relocation is completed, the demolition of existing buildings and the construction procedures are planned to commence.
The Han-nam District 2 housing redevelopment project association selected Daewoo E&C as the constructor in November 2022, and in 2024, it established the management plan through member sale applications and an extraordinary general meeting, subsequently submitting the approval application to Yongsan District in December of the same year. Yongsan District, considering the project's scale and public nature, entrusted the Korea Real Estate Board (REB) with feasibility verification, and following approximately 6 months of review, it was finally approved.
