LX Hausys's 'LX Z:IN window frame' has been selected as the '2025 Green Product of the Year in Korea.' It also won the 'Consumer Choice Award.'
LX Hausys announced on the 23rd that its 'view frame window' along with 'Editon flooring and wall materials' and 'PF board insulation materials' have been selected as three products for the '2025 Green Product of the Year in Korea' by the Korea Green Purchasing Network.
The 'Green Product of the Year' is a significant domestic eco-friendly product award system conducted by the Korea Green Purchasing Network since 2008. This year, the products were evaluated based on their environmental performance and marketability using the ERRC (Eliminate·Reduce·Raise·Create) model, followed by reviews from national consumer environmental organizations and a consumer voting process.
In this year's evaluation, the view frame window received high marks from the consumer evaluation group for its energy efficiency rating of Class 1, which greatly contributes to improving the energy efficiency of buildings. It was also praised for being the first in the domestic window industry to introduce a bezel-less frame design that provides a wider view.
This window also won the 'Consumer Choice Award,' given to the seven products with the highest consumer voting rates.
Editon flooring and wall materials were selected for this green product award due to their environmentally friendly performance achieved by reducing harmful substances during the manufacturing process and their excellent durability.
PF board insulation materials received high scores for securing top-level insulation performance among domestic building insulation materials and obtaining certifications related to eco-friendliness, such as Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and low-carbon product certification.
Accordingly, LX Hausys's window products were selected as the 10th, flooring the 11th, and insulation materials the 12th green products. LX Hausys is recognized as a green product award-winning corporation for 12 consecutive years.
