Daewoo E&C announced on the 21st that President Kim Bo-hyun attended the first joint briefing session for the reconstruction project of Gaepowoseong 7th, which was held at the SETEC Convention Hall in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 20th.
President Kim Bo-hyun reportedly expressed Daewoo E&C's determination to win orders and its business capabilities while engaging in communication with the union members.
Mr. Kim took the podium alongside executive officers from Daewoo E&C's housing and construction division and the finance management office, as well as staff from the housing business division.
He told the union members, "We completely renewed the Summit brand and chose Gaepowoseong 7th as our first project site, which is no coincidence," adding, "Gaepowoseong 7th is where we can most clearly demonstrate the standards of premium that Summit aims for."
On that day, along with Daewoo E&C employees, Tonus Michela, the chief designer from the world-class design firm Wilmotte in France, made a surprise appearance.
Designer Tonus Michela conducted a presentation explaining the background of the creation of 'Summit Prinity.'
He remarked, "I became involved in this project because I was captivated by the locational uniqueness and appeal of Gaepo in Seoul, South Korea," and added, "The future of Gaepowoseong 7th will symbolize unique yet harmonious modern architecture and set a new standard as a representative building and residential complex of Gaepo and, furthermore, Gangnam."
Union members continued to ask questions about the overall project conditions, including Daewoo E&C's extraordinary financial proposals to minimize payment burdens, guaranteed completion, and full acceptance of the contract documents presented by the union, as well as the differentiated design conditions like 100% south-facing units, three-side surround views, private elevators, and evenly distributed underground parking for all units.
Mr. Kim said, "Everything I have said today on behalf of Daewoo E&C is not just a 'proposal' but a 'promise' that I will take direct responsibility for as the CEO," adding, "I will ensure that I do not evade responsibility at any stage of design, construction, finishing, and post-move-in management; I will personally oversee the entire process."
Daewoo E&C will operate its promotional hall until the day before the selection general meeting for the contractor, which is on the 22nd. The 'Summit Prinity' promotional hall will be a space where visitors can check the premium strategy and specialized designs of Gaepowoseong 7th, as well as competitive business conditions and financial strategies.
It is organized into four time slots during the week (10 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 4 p.m., 7 p.m.) and six slots on weekends (10 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m., 3:30 p.m., 5 p.m., 6:30 p.m.), and union members can reserve to visit through text messaging.
