On the 21st, the Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH) announced that it will supply 16,000 dwellings nationwide in the second half of the year to ensure housing stability for low-income families and help them acquire their own homes. Among these, about 12,000 dwellings will be supplied in the metropolitan area, including the third new town in Namyangju, to implement the housing supply plan without disruption.
Looking at the supply scale by month, 2,177 dwellings will be supplied in July, including 1,776 public housing units (Blocks A1, B1, B2) in the Namyangju Wangsil district and 401 units of Newlywed Town (Block A2). In addition, 1,175 units, including 255 units of Newlywed Town (Block A-4) and 920 units of public housing (Block A-1) in the Namyangju Jinjeop 2 district, as well as Newlywed Town (Block A1) with 1,182 units in the Guri Galmae Station area, will be supplied. In the Hwaseong Dongtan 2 district (Block C14), 610 public rental dwellings for conversion after six years will be supplied for the first time.
In August, 538 public housing units (Block A1) will be supplied in the Uijeongbu Ujeong district and 686 units of Newlywed Town (Block C2) will be supplied in the Gwacheon Juam district. In September, alongside 295 public housing units (Block A-2) in Wonju Musil district, 405 units and 277 units of public housing will be supplied in the Namyangju Jinjeop 2 (Block A-7) and Ulsan Taehwa Riverfront district (Block A-2), respectively. Additionally, the supply of 390 units of Newlywed Town in the Siheung Hajung district (Block A4) is also planned.
In October, 2,274 units will be supplied, including 1,130 public housing units in Daejeon Daedong 2 (Block 1), 757 public housing units in Cheongju Jibuk (Block B1), and 387 public housing units in Gimhae Jinrye (Block C-1). In November, 1,895 units will also be supplied, including 499 public housing units in Namyangju Wangsil (Block B-17), 1,003 units of Newlywed Town in Gunpo Daeyami (Block A2), and 393 units of Newlywed Town in Namyangju Wangsil (Block A-24). In December, an estimated 4,090 units will be supplied, including 262 public housing units in Gimpo Gochon 2 (Block A1) and 932 units in Gwacheon Juam (Block C1, public housing and Newlywed Town).
