On the 20th, Samsung C&T announced that it has been finally selected as the construction company for the redevelopment project at 1152 Sinjeong-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul.
The Sinjeong 1152 redevelopment maintenance project association passed a motion on the 19th during a general meeting to select Samsung C&T as the construction company. This project, which will develop a total of 14 buildings with 971 households and community facilities over a scale of 4 basement floors to 15 above-ground floors in the area of 1152 Sinjeong-dong, Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, has a construction cost of approximately 450.7 billion won.
The Sinjeong 1152 redevelopment is within a 6-minute walk from Sinjeongnegeori Station on Subway Line 2, making it a well-connected area. It is also in proximity to several educational institutions, including Nammyung Elementary School, Shingi Elementary School, Sinseo Middle School, Sinnam Middle School, Yangcheon High School, and Mokdong High School, helping to create a good educational environment. Additionally, it is adjacent to parks such as Kyenam Neighborhood Park and Sintree Park.
Samsung C&T proposed a new complex name of "Mokdong Raemian Tramaison". This name is a combination of 'TRA,' meaning center in Italian, and 'MAISION,' meaning house, expressing the ambition to make the redevelopment project at 1152 Sinjeong-dong, which embraces the great nature of Kyenam Neighborhood Park, a landmark representing the Mokdong area.
Above all, the intention is to present another residential masterpiece that will carry on the legacy and pride of the "Mokdong Trapeliss," which marked the beginning of high-end residential culture, and the "Raemian Mokdong Adeli Che," which elevated the status of nearby residential culture.
The exterior of the complex features a curtain wall look with delicately rounded edges, based on specialized design for rooftop structures that captures the architectural beauty of urban and natural harmony. Additionally, a gate shaped like the sun enhances the grandeur with links to the retail deck, allowing residents to feel pride every time they pass through the complex.
The 16 residential buildings in the original plan have been reduced to 14, optimizing the layout, allowing a total of 578 households to have permanent views of Kyenam Neighborhood Park. As a result, all 445 members of the association will be able to enjoy the premium of permanent views. The four separate levels of the complex will be consolidated into two, ensuring connectivity while creating a large green space of approximately 4,978 m2 (about 1,508 pyeong), which did not exist before.
Additionally, a highly advanced community with a total of 30 programs, including a sky community with a 360-degree panoramic view, an indoor gym, a golf practice range, a sauna, and a study lounge will be established.
Moreover, plans are in place to maximize a pleasant living environment by providing specialized layouts for all households in the association, including balcony extensions, "LDK integration" structures, terraces, and open balconies.
Lim Cheol-jin, the head of the housing sales team 1 at Samsung C&T, noted, "We have prepared diverse and differentiated proposals to become a landmark representing the Mokdong area. We will do our utmost to ensure residents can experience both the inherent value of housing and a special premium simultaneously during the execution of the project."
