Hyundai E&C's technical training institute announced on the 11th that it is recruiting trainees for the 'Employment Completion Academy' to cultivate global technical talents in the construction industry.
The recruitment of technical trainees for the second half of this year consists of a total of 10 courses, including three job courses in ▲Plant Electrical and Instrumentation Practical ▲Construction Quality Control ▲Construction Project Management, which will be open for recruitment until the end of next month, the 31st. The job courses in ▲Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Industry ▲Smart City will be open for recruitment from the 28th of this month until September 28th.
The recruitment period for five job courses, including ▲Smart Plant ▲Smart Safety ▲Electrical Facility Construction Practical ▲BIM Construction Management ▲Construction Process Management, is from September 29th to November 30th. Each training program includes tailored hands-on construction education for 4 to 7 months.
The Employment Completion Academy is a course offered by Hyundai E&C's technical training institute aimed at nurturing professional personnel for the construction industry, providing optimized job curricula that can be immediately performed on construction sites and supporting trainees' employment through an industrial network.
All courses are conducted as a national strategic industry program (government funded), where the government fully supports education costs, practice materials, and textbooks. Those eligible are trainees selected through a screening process among applicants who can use the National Tomorrow Learning Card, and they may also receive a modest training incentive.
Graduates of the training program can receive preferential treatment for employment at Hyundai E&C and Hyundai Engineering, as well as support for employment connections with comprehensive construction companies and partner firms. According to Employment 24, among the 444 graduates of the Hyundai E&C technical training institute last year, 356 successfully found jobs, resulting in an 80% employment rate. Graduates employed by Hyundai E&C work not only in Korea but also in overseas sites like Bulgaria and Qatar.

Since its opening in 1977, Hyundai E&C's technical training institute has produced over 39,000 construction personnel based on differentiated operational know-how centered on the field. It is the only specialized training institute for construction personnel among domestic construction companies and has been selected as a '5-Year Certified Excellent Training Institution' by the Ministry of Employment and Labor. It has also received Ministerial Awards from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Employment and Labor twice.
