The Korea Land & Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 8th that it will sell public housing in the Goyang Janghang S-1 block.
The Goyang Janghang S-1 block recorded a competition ratio of about 17 to 1 during the preliminary application in December 2021, with tenant recruitment announcements starting on the 30th of last month.
The total supply is 869 dwellings. Among them, 708 dwellings will be allocated to preliminary application winners, while the remaining 161 dwellings will be offered in the general sale. The unit sizes are 59㎡ and 84㎡. The housing types consist of ▲95 units of type 59, ▲754 units of type 84, and ▲20 units of type 84T.
The sale price will be around 17.5 million won per pyeong (3.3㎡) due to the application of the upper limit on sale prices. The average for type 59 is in the range of 430 million won, while the average for type 84 is in the range of 604 million won.
The application period runs from the 14th to the 15th for preliminary applicants, special supply on the 16th to the 17th, and general supply on the 18th. Winners will be announced in August and contracts are expected to be finalized in October. Occupancy is scheduled for March 2028.
The block has excellent public transport accessibility, being adjacent to Madou Station on Line 3 and the Gyeonggi Metropolitan Rapid Transit (GTX)-A KINTEX Station. It is also close to entrances to the Freeway, Second Freeway, and Gyeonggi Province 1st Circular Expressway, making access to Seoul convenient.
Nearby the complex are the Goyang Janghang Kindergarten and Elementary School, which opened last year. Large commercial facilities like Trader Joe's Wholesale Club and Hyundai Department Store, as well as major hospitals such as Ilsan Paik Hospital and the National Cancer Center, are also located nearby. Natural environments such as Ilsan Lake Park and the Han River Janghang Wetland can be enjoyed closely.
