HS HWASUNG has restructured its organization to actively expand its dwelling business in the metropolitan area and develop overseas projects. The existing Seoul branch has been elevated to the dwelling sales headquarters, and a urban regeneration project team, business team, and Chief Safety Officer (CSO) positions have been newly established.
HS HWASUNG announced on the 1st that it has restructured its organization for 2025 to maximize the organization's expertise and flexibility through strategic alignment between its divisions.
Reflecting the strategic importance of expanding dwelling projects in the metropolitan area, the existing Seoul branch has been expanded into the dwelling sales headquarters. In particular, the dwelling sales headquarters will integrate the previously divided urban regeneration work between Seoul and Daegu by relocating the product development team and development sales team. The 'urban regeneration project team' has also been established to strengthen the capabilities of the dwelling business.
This is intended to grow into a key organization that will enhance the capabilities of the dwelling business in the metropolitan area in line with the recovery of the metropolitan real estate market and serve as a springboard for expanding orders outside the region.
The existing 'construction development headquarters' has been renamed to 'construction headquarters'. It has been restructured into a comprehensive organization that encompasses not only the construction of private buildings but also project management, clarifying the division of roles with the dwelling sales headquarters and establishing a mutually complementary collaboration system.
The existing 'overseas business TF' under the strategy headquarters has been officially restructured into an 'overseas business team' to enable active business progress. Considering the efficiency of the overseas site management system, it has been incorporated under the civil engineering and environmental business headquarters. Currently, overseas projects are being carried out in Pakistan, Vietnam, and Cambodia, centered on the Indonesia branch.
A new 'business team' has also been established to strengthen order capabilities. It is expected to handle practical support across all areas from order placement to contract management and oversight, including construction industry licensing and contract reviews. This is planned to lay a systematic operational foundation that allows each business unit to focus on field-centered management.
A CSO position has been established to elevate on-site safety as a core management value. This comes amid rising social demands for safety, such as the recent Serious Accidents Punishment Act, aiming to incorporate safety not merely as a compliance area but as a core element of management, and to establish a corporate-wide safety culture and a preventive-focused system. The safety management system for headquarters and sites will be standardized and a preventive-focused system will be implemented.
Jung Pil-jae, head of HS HWASUNG's strategy headquarters, noted, "This organizational restructuring is not just a simple structural change; it is meant to practically apply the mid- to long-term growth strategy to the organization and business processes," adding, "We plan to solidify risk management in existing core businesses and effectively respond to changes in new markets such as the metropolitan area and overseas, thereby establishing a sustainable growth foundation."
HS HWASUNG successfully completed large apartment complexes in the Daegu area last year. This year, it is expanding its business stage to the metropolitan area and overseas markets, laying the groundwork for mid- to long-term growth.
