Hoban Group marked its 36th anniversary by reflecting on the values of co-prosperity and coexistence with employees and partner companies.
Hoban Group announced on the 1st that it held its 36th anniversary ceremony on the 30th of last month at Hoban Park in Seocho District, Seoul. About 200 attendees included Kim Sang-yeol, chairman of the Seoul Shinmun; Woo Hyun-hee, chairperson of the Hoban Cultural Foundation; Kim Sun-kyu, chairman of Hoban Group; Kim Dae-heon, president of planning and management at Hoban Group; as well as representatives from major affiliate companies and employees.
At the anniversary ceremony, awards and prizes were given to 275 long-serving employees (10 to 30 years) from Hoban Construction, Hoban Industry, Taihan Cable & Solution, Hoban Hotels & Resorts, and Daea Agricultural Products. In addition, co-prosperity support funds were provided to representatives from over 40 excellent partner companies.
Kim Sun-kyu, chairman of Hoban Group, said in his commemorative speech, "Thanks to all affiliate companies of Hoban Group doing their best in their respective roles despite difficult economic conditions last year, we were able to achieve meaningful results," and noted, "As we celebrate our 36th anniversary, we must prepare for a new leap through change and innovation." He added, "We will contribute to society with our management principles of honesty, integrity, and co-prosperity, while continuing our sustained growth."
Hoban Group, including Hoban Construction and Taihan Cable & Solution, is actively working for co-prosperity with partner companies. The co-prosperity fund for large, medium, and small enterprises and rural areas, which Hoban Group has contributed to since 2018, amounts to a total of 99.9 billion won.
