In July, around 44,000 households are expected to be sold nationwide. With the political uncertainty resolved following the launch of the new government in June, the volume of housing sales has increased more than tenfold.
According to Real Estate R114, 53 complexes comprising a total of 43,700 households (excluding rentals) will be sold nationwide in July. The sales volume, which had been less than 20,000 households on a monthly basis this year, is expected to increase by 1,056% from the previous month and by 114% from the same period last year, broadening the options for prospective buyers.
The planned sales volume in the metropolitan area for July is a total of 23,420 households, with Gyeonggi Province (18,947 households), Seoul (2,811 households), and Incheon (1,662 households) in that order. In Seoul, sales are planned for 'Jamsil LEEL' (1,865 households) in Songpa District, 'Riverscent Prugio Weave' (659 households) in Yeongdeungpo District, and 'Othier Forest' (287 households) in Seongdong District. In Gyeonggi Province, sales are planned for 'Godeok Nature and House D' (517 households) in Pyeongtaek City, 'Hills State Hoeryong Station Park View' (1,816 households) in Uijeongbu City, and 'Harrington Place Pungmu' (1,769 households) in Gimpo City. In Incheon, sales are planned for 'Geomdan Lake Park Station Jungheung S-Class' (1,010 households) in Seo-gu and 'Songdo Station Hanshin The Hue Preston' (652 households) in Yeonsu District.
In the provinces, a total of 20,280 households are set to be sold, with Chungbuk (5,613 households), Busan (4,606 households), and Chungnam (2,436 households) leading the way. In Chungbuk, 'Cheongju Centum Prugio Jaih' (2,271 households) and 'Sinbunpyeong The Way City Jeil Pungyeongchae' (1,448 households) are among those planned for sale. In Busan, 'LEEL River Park Centum' (2,070 households) in Haeundae District and 'Summit Limited Namcheon' (501 households) in Suyeong District are also slated for sale. In Chungnam, 'Asan Tangjeong Jae Central City' (1,238 households) in Asan City is expected to be sold.
Real Estate R114 noted, "As many housing units are pouring into the market in July, it is expected that there will be plenty of 'value complexes' that will attract the interest of prospective buyers," adding, "In the local market as well, housing units are expected to emerge in Busan's Haeundae District, Daegu's Susung District, and Tangjeong-myeon in Asan City, as well as in Cheongju City, where competition rates were high even in a sluggish market, indicating that the July sales market is likely to gain significant interest from prospective buyers."
