Samsung C&T announced on the 29th that it has been selected as the construction company for the redevelopment project of the B-04 area in Nam-gu, Ulsan.
The Ulsan B-04 area redevelopment maintenance project association approved the proposal to select Samsung C&T as the construction company during a general meeting held on the 28th. This project, which is located in the vicinity of 1586 Sinjeong-dong in Nam-gu, Ulsan, will consist of 11 buildings ranging from 6 underground floors to 28 above-ground floors, totaling 1,441 dwellings and ancillary welfare facilities, with construction costs estimated at about 698.2 billion won.
The redevelopment of the B-04 area in Nam-gu, Ulsan, is a place known for its excellent educational district, with schools such as Sinjeong Elementary School, Okdong Middle School, and Hakseong High School located within about a 10-minute walk. Additionally, the Taehwa River flows nearby, and eco-friendly infrastructure like Namsan Neighborhood Park and Ulsan Grand Park has been established. By 2029, the Ulsan Urban Tram Line 1 is expected to be constructed, promising convenient transportation around the station area.
Samsung C&T proposed the new complex name 'Raemian Elimium (ELIMIUM) Ulsan.' This combines the emphasis on excellent education associated with 'Elite' and the premium value of Raemian, signifying its intention to present a landmark representing the era.
The exterior of the complex will feature a curtain wall look (full glass panels) to harmonize with the surrounding natural scenery, including Namsan and Eunwolbong, along with an art wall design that descends along the side walls. A street-style decorative column measuring a total of 320 meters will be installed to enhance the grandeur of the complex.
The sky community with a 360-degree panoramic view established in the two landmark buildings will include a sky lounge with views of downtown Ulsan and the surrounding natural landscape, a guest house, and sky yoga. On the ground level, a top-tier community featuring a swimming pool, golf lounge, study room, and a total of 56 programs is set to be built.
By reducing the existing maintenance plan from 17 buildings to 11, wider spacing between buildings has been secured, enhancing the comfort of the complex with four visual axes connecting Namsan and downtown Nam-gu. All units will be oriented south, and particularly, the 1,271 units of type 59 and above will utilize a 4-bay specialized design, providing all 637 members of the association with comfortable and spacious indoor spaces.
Additionally, two large plazas measuring 14,500㎡ (about 4,000 pyeong) named 'Double Central Park,' a 3.1 km circular walking path called 'Daily Walk,' and nine theme gardens will also be established.
Kim Do-hyeong, head of the Housing Sales Team 2 at Samsung C&T, noted, 'Various specialized proposals have been included to be established as a landmark representing Ulsan,' and 'We will do our utmost to ensure it becomes a value and pride beyond what the association expects.'
