Daewoo E&C announced on the 26th that it is actively participating in the Gaepo Housing 7th project competition with 'SUMMIT PRINITY' and aims to create a new model for high-end living in Gaepo through a world-class collaboration.
Daewoo E&C's strategy is to pursue luxury within the complex through collaboration with world-renowned design masters suitable for the renewal of its high-end brand 'SUMMIT.'
The overall director of 'SUMMIT PRINITY' is Jean-Michel Wilmotte, regarded as one of France's top architectural masters. Wilmotte has risen to the ranks of global masters by leading modernization projects of French architecture, including the Louvre Museum in Paris and the Élysée Palace. He has also participated in regional landmark projects in Korea, such as the Gana Art Center in Pyeongchang and Incheon International Airport.
The structural design part features the German group BOLLINGER+GROHMANN, which has established itself as a leading group of structural engineering experts in Europe by executing various projects worldwide for 42 years. They have strengths in artistic unconventional architecture, digital parametric design, and sustainable structural solutions. They have participated in projects such as the Rolex Learning Center in Lausanne, Switzerland, the Busan Cinema Center's massive roof structure, and the 'Light of Life Chapel' project designed by the Japanese architectural master Tadao Ando in Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi Province.
In landscaping, VIRON, a landscape design studio that pursues a landscape where urban and natural coexist, combines modern artistic sense and functionality. In the community sector, WGNB, a leading space creator group in South Korea that has created venues like Kyobo Bookstore and Junji Flagship Store, and SWNA, a space design group that gained fame for designing medals for the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics, are participating.
Additionally, the top-tier total interior group Hyeonwoo Design, indoor lighting specialists ROOT PERCEPTION, home décor specialists DESIGN YUMM, who visualize human emotions into space, and the media art agency d'strict, active globally, also participated.
