The Kumho Beksan Apartment in Geumho-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, will undergo remodeling, consisting of 1,963 units in a 24-story building.
The city of Seoul announced on the 25th that the 7th Architectural Committee meeting held on the 24th passed the building review for the "Kumho Beksan Apartment Remodeling Project."
The Kumho Beksan Apartment located in the area of 633 Geumho 1-ga, Seongdong-gu, will undergo vertical and horizontal expansion remodeling, resulting in a 24-story building with 1,963 residential units (1,707 existing units and 256 new units), along with community facilities and additional amenities.
This plan includes the renovation of surrounding infrastructure and improvements to the level changes within the complex, which is expected to significantly enhance the living environment. It also provides for community facilities such as an open parking lot, a senior center, and a small library, aiming to create a community complex that fosters communication with residents. In particular, the plan features the transformation of parking-oriented outdoor spaces into pleasant pedestrian pathways.
The Kumho Beksan Remodeling Project is scheduled to begin construction in June 2027, with distribution in September 2027 and completion in June 2031. Once the project is completed, it is expected to enhance the living environment in the complex while contributing to community revitalization and the establishment of a foundation for co-prosperity in the local community.
