Seoul City will participate in the '2025 Asia-Pacific Housing Research Network Conference' to share examples of customized dwelling supply such as long-term rental dwellings and pre-built houses, and to discuss future housing policy directions with urban scholars from various Asian countries.
Seoul City announced on the 24th that it will participate in the '2025 Asia-Pacific Housing Research Network (APNHR) Conference' to be held at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China, from the 26th to the 27th.
The conference will focus on the theme 'Towards resilience and inclusiveness: Adaptation to multifaceted issues in the Asia-Pacific region,' where housing experts from various Asian countries will gather to seek solutions to the housing problems faced by cities.
Invited by the association, Jeong Jong-dae, head of the Real Estate Policy Development Center of Seoul City, will introduce key housing policy examples such as pre-built houses and youth-safe dwellings from Seoul.
Choi Jin-seok, head of the Housing Bureau of Seoul City, said, 'Seoul's leading and multifaceted housing policies will be shared in a gathering aimed at seeking solutions to the housing issues faced by cities worldwide.' He also noted, 'We will work to implement more effective dwelling policies in cooperation with Asian cities in the future.'
