Lotte Construction announced on the 24th that it has developed an 'AI construction estimation model' to systematically manage construction estimation details and efficiently calculate unit prices.
Lotte Construction explained that the 'AI construction estimation model' has a system that consolidates construction estimation details based on standard construction details and allows for unit price calculations based on objective criteria.
By introducing natural language-based mapping technology, it is possible to derive unit prices without the existing complex estimation codes, thereby increasing work efficiency and ensuring accuracy.
The existing work process has mostly relied on the judgment of the person in charge, comparing contract unit prices based on unstructured estimation details. However, with the development of this model, Lotte Construction noted that it has been able to determine the appropriateness of unit prices through the database of standard details and historical contract unit prices for unit price comparison and review.
Additionally, by DBing the estimation details, it is expected to maintain the consistency of the estimation detail system and enhance the reliability and transparency of the unit price calculation process. This model is scheduled for active use in future execution budget preparation and bidding estimation tasks.
A representative from Lotte Construction said, 'Through this model applying AI technology, we have systematized the complex cost detail systems and various detail names in the construction industry,' and noted, 'We will enhance the efficiency of construction cost management through continuous supplementation and updates of standard details.'
