The Seoul city government re-designated the reconstructed apartments in Gangnam and Songpa districts as land transaction permit zones.
On the 5th, the Seoul city government announced that it reassigns 14 reconstructed apartment projects in Gangnam and Songpa districts as land transaction permit zones for one year until June 22, 2026, during the 9th city planning committee meeting held on the 4th. The regulation on land transaction permit zones for this area is set to expire on the 22nd, thus extending it for another year.
The target area consists of 10 complexes in Daechi-dong, Samsung-dong, and Cheongdam-dong in Gangnam and 4 complexes in Jamsil-dong in Songpa, covering an area of 1.43㎢.
The targeted complexes are ▲Daechi-dong Gaepo Woosung 1st and 2nd ▲Seonggyeong ▲Mido ▲Ssyangyong 1st and 2nd ▲Woosung 1st ▲Eunma Apartments and in Samsung-dong and Cheongdam-dong ▲Jinhung Apartment in Cheongdam-dong ▲Hyundai 1st ▲Jamsil Jugong 5th Complex ▲Jamsil Woosung 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th ▲Asian Athletes' Village Apartments.
On April 28, the Seoul city government also designated 11 zones (0.85㎢) selected as candidates for rapid integrated planning housing redevelopment as land transaction permit zones.

Once designated as a land transaction permit zone, any transactions involving the transfer or setting of ownership or surface rights for land exceeding 6㎡ in residential areas and 15㎡ in commercial areas require permission from the district office.
Choi Jin-seok, head of housing in Seoul, said, "We will thoroughly prevent real estate speculation and attract genuine demand to create a safe real estate market."
