DL E&C has been finally selected as the construction company for the 'Hannam District 5 Housing Redevelopment Project' in Yongsan District, Seoul, with a construction cost of 1.7584 trillion won. Thus, the cumulative amount of urban maintenance contracts this year has increased to 2.6830 trillion won. DL E&C plans to actively pursue contracts with the Acro brand starting from Hannam, as well as in Seongsu, Apgujeong, Yeouido, and Mokdong.
DL E&C noted on the 2nd that it received overwhelming support from association members at the general meeting for the Hannam District 5 redevelopment project held at COEX in Gangnam District, Seoul, on the 31st of last month and was selected as the final construction company. Among the 1,170 association members in attendance that day, 92.4%, or 1,081 members, voted in favor.
Hannam District 5 is a large-scale housing maintenance project that will create dwellings (2,401 units) and office facilities (146 officetels), along with community facilities, on a 141,186 square meter site in Dongbinggo-dong, Yongsan District, Seoul.
The complex name proposed by DL E&C for Hannam District 5 is 'Acro Hannam.' DL E&C has planned a total of 1,670 units with a view of the Han River, which is 108% of the association households. They also secured 'wide Han River views' for 1,480 units, amounting to 96% of the association households and significantly higher than other areas of the Hannam New Town.
DL E&C explained that securing a large number of mid-sized units positively impacted this contract. They have designed 74% of all units in Hannam District 5 as mid-sized. Additionally, they will provide designs that maximize usable space and a large indoor garden called 'Acro Garden House,' which integrates nature into the complex.
DL E&C led the entire design and planning process for this contract. Centered around the Design Innovation Center, the only design strategy department among domestic construction companies, they realized 'timeless value.'
A representative from DL E&C said, 'As a result of deep engagement with association members over a long time, we proposed a differentiated residential value with Acro Hannam, reflecting the most suitable vision for Hannam District 5.'
