HDC Hyundai Development Company announced on the 16th that it proposed three differentiated swimming pools, including an 'Infinity Square Pool' 140 meters above ground, in the bidding for the reconstruction of the Shin Samho Apartments in the Bangbae-dong area of Seocho-gu, Seoul.
The swimming pools found only in high-end apartments such as Samsung-dong I-Park, Hannam the Hill, and Banpo Xi go beyond mere amenities to symbolize luxury residential facilities. In the past, there were limitations due to maintenance difficulties and management fee issues, but now renewable energy applications can effectively reduce electricity costs and management burdens.
The 'THE SQUARE 270' proposed by HDC Hyundai Development Company to the association includes three types of swimming pools: an infinity pool reminiscent of the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore, an amusement pool with a standard 25-meter lane and various facilities, and a high-end hotel-style private pool.
Located on the top floor of a 140-meter building, the 'Infinity Square Pool' is characterized by its maximized 360-degree panoramic view. It can be easily accessed through a dedicated elevator that connects to the ground level, offering refreshing views of Woomyeonsan and Gwanaksan mountains, as well as Namsan and the Han River. To the south of the complex, Seorae Elementary School and a park are located, ensuring permanent sightlines, and the site provides a view of the Seoul World Fireworks Festival.
The 'Amusement Pool' being developed indoors features various facilities available for family use, including not only a 25-meter standard lane swimming pool but also aqua health, a wading pool, a heated pool, and a kids' pool. The ceiling is designed to be two stories high, ensuring a sense of volume and openness, and it allows residents to enjoy a one-stop healthy life connected with adjacent facilities like Glow Gym and Golf Arena. The facilities also include private shower rooms and powder rooms.
'Maison 7' is a guest house designed in a luxury resort style that includes seven uniquely designed private pools and jacuzzis. Its design considers natural light and outdoor air influx, boasting an excellent sense of space despite being located underground. This is a result of the know-how acquired by HDC Hyundai Development Company through its management of luxury hotels such as Park Hyatt Seoul and Busan, as well as resorts like Park Roche and Oak Valley.
Meanwhile, in the bidding for the construction of the Bangbae Shin Samho Apartments on the 9th, only HDC Hyundai Development Company participated, resulting in a failure to select a contractor, and a second bidding announcement is expected soon.
