Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 8th that it will publicly recruit 508 new employees this year.
The target includes 350 positions at levels 5 and 6, and 158 positions for permanent contracts (service jobs). This is 110% of the level compared to last year. LH has expanded the recruitment scale compared to last year to establish a foundation for carrying out government policies such as expanding dwellings supply and developing the third new towns.
There are no restrictions on the academic background, age, or experience of new recruits; however, those applying for certain fields in the level 5 technical and administrative positions must hold a qualified certificate. For level 6, only those whose highest education is high school graduation or those who are expected to graduate can apply.
Starting with the integrated announcement on this day, the application period for permanent positions will take place from May 14 to 22, and document submission for levels 5 and 6 will take place from June 11 to 19 in sequence. Due to the difference in application dates, applicants can apply crosswise between permanent positions and levels 5 and 6.
To enhance the fairness of evaluation and reduce the burden on job seekers, LH will conduct only quantitative assessments such as language scores and qualifications during the document screening for levels 5 and 6. Personal statements will only need to be submitted by those who pass the written test. This will be used as reference material during future personality interviews.
LH has doubled the hiring ratio of people with disabilities compared to the legal requirement of 3.8% to support the social advancement of the socially disadvantaged. All applicants with basic qualifications who are applying under the disabled category will be provided the opportunity to take the written test. A 5% bonus will be applied to each evaluation stage such as documents, written tests, and interviews for youth preparing for independence (youth who have exited protective facilities such as children's welfare institutions and foster homes).
To clarify any doubts applicants may have regarding recruitment, LH will hold an online briefing using KakaoTalk open chat rooms for two days starting from June 11, the application start date for levels 5 and 6. A dedicated call center for recruitment will also be available.
Visitors to the "LH Recruitment Lounge" can also receive face-to-face consultations. The "LH Recruitment Lounge" is located at the LH headquarters (Jinju, Gyeongnam) and in the metropolitan area (LH Gyeonggi Southern Regional Headquarters, Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province). It operates year-round.
