Daewoo E&C announced on the 2nd that it participated in the "Fall Accident Prevention Relay Campaign" to prevent potential falls at construction sites and create a safe environment.
Kim Bo-hyun, president of Daewoo E&C, conducted a safety inspection at the Prugio Centvien site near Songnae Station in Bucheon on the 23rd of last month.
During the campaign period, the Chief Safety Officer (CSO) of Daewoo E&C conducted self-inspections at the Busan Munhyeon Mixed Development Phase 3 site and the Busan Citizen Park Prugio site.
In particular, Daewoo E&C emphasized the obligation to wear essential protective equipment during high-altitude work through this campaign. It also conducted checks on the wearing of safety equipment, removal of fall hazards, and posting of relay campaign promotional materials such as safety banners.
Daewoo E&C stressed the need to create a site atmosphere where everyone protects each other through its "CLEAR" values, which are five core values all members of Daewoo E&C should continuously pursue.
President Kim Bo-hyun said, "The company is operating safety surveillance CCTV and artificial intelligence (AI) cameras on construction machinery to enhance safety management systems," adding, "We will continuously develop and implement worker-centered smart safety technologies such as AI translation services and access management systems for vulnerable workers."
