900 dwellings will be supplied in the Songdui Village of Bangbae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government noted on the 25th that during the second public housing integrated review committee held on the 24th, it conditionally approved the amendment plan for the housing construction project at the 'Seocho Songdui Village Public Housing District A1 Complex' located at 565-2 Bangbae-dong, Seocho-gu.
Accordingly, 900 dwellings will be supplied in Songdui Village, with a structure of 2 basement floors to a maximum of 20 floors. This includes 327 units for newlyweds and 292 units for sale.
The dwellings are composed of various layouts and sizes (31㎡, 36㎡, 51㎡, 59㎡) by building. A social mix combining rental and sale will also be applied.
The site is near Umyeonsan Urban Nature Park, where the landscape has been damaged due to the long-term concentration of illegal buildings and indiscriminate development, posing a risk of landslides.
The Seoul Metropolitan Government's policy is to implement a 'garden city' in conjunction with Umyeonsan by maximizing the preservation of the original terrain from the design phase of the complex, reducing the amount of excavation, and creating seven gardens linked with 15 landscaping courtyards and children's playgrounds within the complex.
After obtaining approval for the housing construction project plan amendment in the first half of this year, the project aims to commence construction in 2026 and complete it by the first half of 2029.
