Lotte Engineering & Construction has jointly developed a built-in dehumidifier product for dressing rooms with Humaster, a dehumidification specialist, to provide convenience for residents and improve their quality of life.
This product applies a desiccant method with air purification functions, rather than the existing heat pump type ceiling-mounted dehumidifier that dehumidifies by passing humid air through cooling coils, enhancing performance.
Desiccant is a chemical dehumidification method that repeatedly passes humid air through a moisture filter made of specially designed dehumidification materials and heats it to supply dry air. This method not only provides excellent dehumidification performance but also helps prevent mold issues, and features deodorizing and antibacterial functions to maintain a pleasant environment.
Additionally, an LED is embedded in the ceiling-mounted structure, allowing for installation in the dressing room without interfering with lighting. Its small volume and weight make it convenient for installation. In terms of maintenance, there is no need for separate drain piping for condensate discharge, which alleviates concerns about odors, leaks, and backflow from incoming water.
Recently, Lotte Engineering & Construction completed KC certification for this product and obtained a test report from a certified institution after undergoing testing by the Energy Certification Research Institute.
A representative from Lotte Engineering & Construction's Technology Research Institute noted, "We proceeded with this technology development to provide residents with a pleasant living environment," and said, "In the future, we plan to selectively apply it to residential facilities constructed by Lotte Engineering & Construction to enhance residents' satisfaction."
