A primary school with 31 classes and an attached kindergarten will be built in the 'Hannam 3 Redevelopment Promotion District.'
The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced that it approved a revised proposal for the 'Hannam 3 Redevelopment Promotion District Redevelopment Promotion Plan' during the 4th Urban Redevelopment Committee meeting held on the 15th.
This review was conducted after verifying the intentions of the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education and the Central Office of Education regarding the school establishment plan and gathering residents' opinions, resulting in the decision to reflect school facilities.
The target area spans 386,364 square meters in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, and with this review, ▲ the urban planning facility changed from public space (8,500 square meters) to school (10,755 square meters) ▲ the floor area ratio changed from 238% to 237% ▲ the number of households changed from 5,988 to 5,970.
As the area will have a primary school with 31 classes and an attached kindergarten, the specific size is expected to be confirmed through the educational office's school facility business implementation plan.
The Hannam 3 Redevelopment Promotion District, where a large complex with 6,000 households is scheduled to be developed by 2029, received approval for the management and disposition plan in 2023. As the relocation is nearly completed this year and formal demolition has begun, it shows the fastest progress among projects in the 'Hannam New Town.' The construction company is Hyundai E&C, and the project is named 'The H Hannam.'
