This year, the focus is on developing joint technologies to improve the financial and operational processes of partner companies, enhancing safety and quality training, and increasing opportunities for collaboration in future new business areas such as offshore wind power and secondary batteries.

This year, the Growth Support Group consists of 22 programs in three areas: technology development, education, and consulting, which can provide practical assistance to partner companies, including enhancing their capabilities and increasing sales. More than 600 partner companies are expected to participate and engage in various activities.

In the field of technology development, joint technologies will be developed with partner companies possessing excellent technologies, such as 'Development of pre-piling technology for offshore wind suction foundation construction' and 'Localization development of compressive materials for stone floors in apartment buildings,' and support will be provided for new sales channels by enhancing the technological competitiveness of partner companies in conjunction with a performance-sharing system.

In the education field, to strengthen the safety capabilities of partner companies and ensure construction quality, safety and health education (Safety Academy) and quality training for vulnerable construction sectors will be continuously provided in connection with last year's support program.

In the consulting field, safety diagnosis consulting will be conducted for partner companies in high-risk construction areas, and support will be provided for acquiring safety management system certification (ISO 450001) to enhance safety management capabilities.

Through the Growth Support Group, POSCO Engineering & Construction aims to overcome the current crisis by enhancing the technological capabilities of partner companies, assisting in increased sales, and improving project profitability through cost reduction and shortening construction periods.
