In the area, 92% of all owners agreed to the reconstruction when applying for the leading district, indicating a very high willingness to push forward with reconstruction. A survey conducted in February this year found that an average of 8 out of 10 residents from 4 complexes preferred the trust method.

The integrated reconstruction of Hugok Village consists of Hyundai, Kumho Hanyoung, Dongaseong Imkwang, and Gunyoung Apartments, totaling 2,564 households across 4 complexes. It is located in a super-station area adjacent to Ilsan Station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line and Seohae Line.

The area along Ilsan Road on the southern side of the project site is a representative educational district in Ilsan. The 3rd complex includes Sinchon Elementary School, while the 10th complex houses Sinil Elementary School, making it a ‘child-friendly’ complex with elementary, middle, and high schools within walking distance, and it is regarded as a clean residential area without harmful environments.

A KOREIT official said, “We will do our best to meet the strong will and expectations of the residents regarding reconstruction,” adding, “We will focus on swift project execution and thorough risk management.”
