Kim Seung-mo, the representative of Hanwha Construction, has begun his third term after being reappointed as CEO at the regular shareholders' meeting.

Hanwha Co., Ltd. announced on the 26th that the agenda for the reappointment of Kim Seung-mo as an inside director was passed at the 73rd shareholders' meeting held at the Royal Hotel Seoul in Jung-gu, Seoul.

Kim was born in 1963 and graduated from Sungkyunkwan University with a degree in industrial engineering. He joined Hanwha Group in 1991 and has since served as the representative of Qcells, head of the business support office at Hanwha Co., Ltd., and representative of the defense institutional sector at Hanwha Co., Ltd. He has held the position of president of Hanwha Construction for the past four years since his appointment in 2021. With this reappointment, he is starting his third term.

Since his appointment, Kim has been working on reorganizing the business structure by transferring the plant and offshore wind power businesses to Hanwha Ocean, and he is focused on expanding the business portfolio, including complex development and data centers.

At the shareholders' meeting that day, all items were approved, including ▲ approval of the 73rd financial statements and consolidated financial statements ▲ amendment of the articles of incorporation ▲ appointment of Edwin Feulner as outside director ▲ appointment of Lee Yong-kyu as commissioner of the audit committee ▲ approval of the limit on directors' compensation.
