LX Hausys announced on the 26th that it has newly appointed President Noh Jin-seo and Vice President Han Joo-woo as co-CEOs.
At the '16th Regular Shareholders Meeting' held at the LX Hausys headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, LX Hausys appointed President Noh Jin-seo and Vice President Han Joo-woo as internal directors and newly named them as co-CEOs during the board meeting that followed the shareholders meeting.
Accordingly, Noh will oversee the overall business, while Han will manage the institutional sector of manufacturing. A representative from LX Hausys noted, "We have appointed two co-CEOs to supervise both business and manufacturing to strengthen the competitiveness of the business."
At this shareholders meeting, LX Hausys appointed Chief Financial Officer Choi Sung-kwan as a non-executive director and newly appointed former Hyundai Patex CEO Won Jong-hoon and Professor Cheon Ui-young from Kyonggi University’s Department of Architecture as outside directors. Additionally, it finalized an amendment to its articles of incorporation to expand the number of directors from a minimum of three to a maximum of nine.
LX Hausys also approved its 2024 financial statement and confirmed dividends of 1,000 won for common stock and 1,050 won for preferred stock.
Park Jang-soo, Chief Financial Officer of LX Hausys, said during the shareholders meeting opening remarks, "I expect this year to be challenging due to the domestic construction and real estate market stagnation and the impact of the global economic downturn."
Park continued, "In the domestic market, we will strive to expand our B2C business through products equipped with customer-oriented research and development and design that maximizes customer convenience, while in the overseas market, we will focus on profitability improvement and preparations for future growth through the launch of locally customized new products and securing new customers, primarily in the U.S. and Europe."
