On the 18th, Ssangyong Construction announced that it received remodeling approval for the Munjeong Hyundai Apartment from the Songpa District Office on the 14th.

The Munjeong Hyundai Apartment, completed in 1991, is a complex with 120 units, consisting of one basement floor and ten above-ground floors. Through this remodeling, it will be transformed into a building with four basement floors and ten above-ground floors (expansion) and a new 15-story building. As a result, the total number of units will expand to 138, and the newly constructed 15-story building will add 18 new units and community facilities.

Additionally, the expansion of the underground parking lot will increase the current parking capacity from 57 vehicles (0.47 per household) to 175 vehicles (1.26 per household), more than tripling it. The newly built units will feature a design that allows for separate living spaces for rental purposes.

This complex is being rapidly advanced, having received remodeling approval three years after the establishment of the remodeling association in March 2022. The association, construction company, and Songpa District are working together with the goal of relocating and commencing construction in 2025 and 2026.

A representative of Ssangyong Construction noted, "We have successfully completed five complex remodeling projects, including Bangbae Palace, Dogok Dongsin, Dangsan Pyeonghwa, Bamseom Lake, and Okum Anam, where construction experience and technical capabilities are critical in the remodeling market. We will continue the reputation of Ssangyong Construction remodeling by starting the remodeling of Sindap Geukdong in 2025 and Munjeong Hyundai in 2026."
