HDC Hyundai Development Company announced on the 17th that it has been selected as the contractor at the general assembly for the selection of the contractor for the 'Wonju Dangye Jugong Apartment Reconstruction Maintenance Project.'
At the contractor selection general assembly held on the 15th, 440 members present voted, and HDC Hyundai Development Company received 386 votes (87.7%) in favor.
Wonju I-Park features a unique exterior design inspired by the historical background of Dangye-dong, which suggests that 'sand and water flow down from a peak where a platform (壇) is mixed, forming a valley that looks red at the riverbed.' It is based on motifs of peaks, valleys, sand, and water.
Through Wonju I-Park, HDC Hyundai Development Company plans to showcase elegant landscaping that reflects the four seasons of Mount Chiak, featuring a large central lawn, water spaces, a 3.3 km walking path, and various theme gardens. They intend to provide a quality residential environment through differentiated technological capabilities, such as an advanced parking system and an eco-friendly energy system.
The Wonju Dangye Jugong Apartment Reconstruction Maintenance Project is a project to build new apartments, consisting of three underground floors and up to 29 floors with 15 buildings and a total of 1,560 units, in the area of 792 Dangye-dong, Wonju, Gangwon Province. The site area is approximately 85,410 square meters, and the gross floor area is around 236,000 square meters, with construction costs estimated at 436.9 billion won.
The Second Yeongdong Expressway and the Jungang Expressway pass nearby, making access to adjacent areas convenient. It is easy to use the Manjong Station on the Gyeonggang Line, and the Wonju Comprehensive Bus Terminal is also located right across.
Bokwon Elementary School and Korea YMCA Wonju High School are right next door. Within a radius of about 1 km are Ilsan Elementary, Jungang Elementary, Pyeongwon Elementary, Wonju Girls' Middle School, Pyeongwon Middle School, and Hakseong Middle School. The academy district in Mujil-dong is also nearby.
