Lotte Engineering & Construction announced on the 13th that it has developed a premium chatbot called "Lotte Construction Chatbot" based on the Lotte Group's own AI platform, Aimember, to share information such as construction quality and technical know-how.
The Lotte Construction Chatbot provides ▲ knowledge information based on site construction cases and quality management standards ▲ quality regulations and operational manual information ▲ and technical know-how for super high-rise construction.
While general chatbots process data based on common knowledge or information data, the Lotte Construction Chatbot processes data that has undergone its own testing based on internal knowledge documents, allowing for more accurate and reliable search results, according to Lotte Engineering & Construction. There are no concerns about information leakage as it uses a server managed internally by Lotte Engineering & Construction.
When users input work-related questions into the chatbot, it provides answers in various contents like images and tables and offers convenience functions such as related questions and external searches. Additionally, it provides supporting materials for answers and shares both successful and failed cases related to construction, thereby helping to improve construction quality on site.
It recorded a score of 0.98, which is higher than the benchmark score of 0.8, in indicators that measure the search accuracy of chatbots. Lotte Engineering & Construction noted that it also achieved a score of 0.58, which is higher than the benchmark score of 0.4, in an evaluation comparing the performance of its natural language generation model with the state-of-the-art language model GPT-4o, indicating that it can convey information at a level similar to human language.
