LX Hausys announced on the 12th that it has been selected as an 'Industry Mover' in the '2024 Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA)' by S&P Global, one of the top three credit rating agencies in the world.
S&P Global assesses the ESG (environmental, social, and governance) management levels of corporations each year and awards the 'Industry Mover' designation to the corporations within each industry that have achieved the most significant score increase compared to the previous year (at least 5%).
Last year, over 7,690 corporations participated in the assessment, and 56 were selected as Industry Movers. LX Hausys was the only company to make the list in the Building Products industry, with an evaluation score increase of 13% compared to the previous year.
LX Hausys received high scores in areas such as ▲climate change strategy ▲environmental policy and management ▲risk management. Its efforts in 'climate change strategy' through process innovation and a consistent reduction in greenhouse gas emissions for five consecutive years until 2023 were highly rated.
Additionally, LX Hausys has maintained the continuous acquisition of the international environmental management system (ISO 14001) certification, showcasing its global level of environmental management capabilities. Last year, it introduced an ESG education and consulting support system for suppliers, which also received positive evaluations for proactive supply chain risk management activities.
Through this, LX Hausys was listed for the first time as a 'The Sustainability Yearbook Member' in the S&P Sustainability Management Annual Report. The '2025 S&P Annual Report' includes 780 global corporations within the top 15% score across various industries.
A representative from LX Hausys noted, "Through this Industry Mover designation, our ESG management capabilities, which lead the domestic interior industry, have been recognized in the global market. We will continue to enhance the company's sustainable competitive advantage through ESG management practices that respond to climate change and global environmental regulations."
